The Phillips High Track team returned from the Alabama High School Athletic Association State Track meet with two medals this year. The state 1A-3A meet was held April 30 and May 1 at Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.
David Hyde won the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 41.81 seconds, beating Cameron Morrow of Maplesville who had a time of 42.75.
Christopher Self placed 3rd in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:59.3 to medal this year.

Caleb Clark, Sydney Feltman, David Hyde, Colton Ricketts - 4x400 Meter Relay - 7th Place

As a team, the Phillips boys team finished 7th at the state meet and the girls team finished 25th.
